The science ofcognitive health,made personal.
Your complete picture, held in one place: watched, coordinated, clearly told.
The gap

One clear picture.
That’s the work Lucida does.
The approach
One practice, where it all connects.
A relationship, not an assessment

About Kelly
The person whose job is the whole picture.

Kelly Li
Founder & Cognitive Health Advisor · Vancouver, BC
Most of what you’ll read about the aging brain is either too frightening or too good to be true. The work is to weigh it honestly and say what’s real and what isn’t.
Lucida began with a simple gap: no one was minding the whole cognitive picture. I gather it into one place and keep the specialists connected, so nothing is lost between appointments.
I’m trained in the cognitive assessment tools this depends on, and I follow the research every day, so I can tell you what’s genuinely worth raising with your physician. I recommend; I do not diagnose or prescribe. Those decisions stay with your doctors. What I offer is everything around them: clarity, steady attention, and one point to turn to.
And not all of it is reading and coordinating. Much of it happens simply in the room together: breath and movement for steadiness, mindfulness for a calmer week, cognitive practice we keep honest. That time together is part of the care in its own right, because no one should face any of this alone.
FAQ
Common questions.
Is this medical care?
No. Lucida is a non-clinical advisory practice. We observe, organize, and coordinate; diagnosis and treatment stay with your physicians. Our work is to help you make the most of them.
How is this different from our family doctor?
Your doctor's visits are essential, and brief. Lucida works between them: watching the whole picture over time, preparing summaries before appointments, closing loops after, and putting everything in plain language.
Who is Lucida for?
Anyone who wants to be proactive about their cognitive health, at any age, and the families who share that intention. Some clients begin decades ahead of any concern; others begin later, attentively. Earlier is easier.
What is a cognitive baseline?
A structured picture of how things are now, across eight domains of everyday life, taken while things are well, so that change is legible early.
Do we have to commit to anything to start?
No. It begins with a conversation. The practice takes only a few families at a time, and fit matters in both directions.
Is our information private?
Yes. What you share stays within the practice and is never sold. How we handle information is set out plainly in our privacy note, and in writing before any engagement begins.
